I've been reading with interest the posturing going on regarding the golf match. From what I hear about Brad's prowess as a golfer and the fact the West are playing golf now while we're still wearing tuques and boots, I'm not sure 5 strokes is enough. well, well... looks like a good old fashion pissing contest is developping here!! I have to admit that letting the west win is being considered... after all, the very next day is Brad's demise! I don't know if I want to add salt to his nuptial wounds. Then again, being a slave to Flahertys for a full day would definitely be a good preview for what he will be doing for life anyway. I think a challenge with people from "that" side of the country is a good idea. I wish good luck to the western folks and look forward to meeting/beating you!

East vs West Golf Challenge, great idea!

Sorry Dad F...no strokes coming from the West. Shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, as most of us out here are brim full of Western Paranoia...you know...the old "The East has everything the West gets nothing" thing...and besides, Brad golfing under the pressure of competition??? who knows...and it is almost a certainty that the best man will hook 3 OB off the first tee (Ha Ha Mikey! Remember the Pond? Aim way right!!!).

Almost there, can't wait. Golf on Sunday for anyone interested or any other day for that matter. I here the Western Canadians are pretty good so maybe a little competition is called for. West vs. East with West giving East 5 strokes per match (sanbaggers,78 and probably lower. I would think that the losers get the drinks for us and our better halves for a full day. The American plays with the East. I guess I better mention that I can't wait for the wedding since that is what it is all about, right Dev. Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a good time with family and friends (fun in the sun)

Hey Guys... just got off the website for the resort and found it hard to tell just how far the ceremony is from the closest bar?? ( should I just bring a tray??) Also noticed there is no 24 hour bar... that leaves little time for priming unless we stock the fridges in advance. Because of this and the fact that Brad might not yet be back from golf, I think you really need to re-evaluate the time of the whole thing. See ya soon.

Hey Brad (78)... are we still teeing off at 7:00 am the day of the wedding?? Maybe Devon could bump the service back a little so we aren't so rushed after golf. Woo hoo can't wait. I'm assuming the Speedo comment was left with my Hubby in mind. Don't worry I'll hide the speedos and if he manages to find them, I'll be sure they do not show up on the day of the wedding. But you know Davey - anything is possible!
